Why people are not happy under communism?

Communism often comes under criticism and it happens because communist parties leads to totalitarianism, political repression, restrictions of human rights, poor economic performance as well as restrictions in foreign trades and cultural censorship. For example East and West Germany after World War 2 many people from East Germany was eager to go to the west Germany because living conditions were way too high in Capitalist led west in compare to Communist led East Germany.

Because of lack of freedom and basic rights people are unhappy with communism.
