why people follow caste system???

Looking at history, it could be concluded that caste system was meant to just define a social system based on the occupation.

But, as always happens, things turn out to be all different with time.

In present scenario, it has nothing to do with occupation or religion.

But, just a system forcing people to follow stringent ideals and customs without any convincing reasons and logic (as many customs practised today cannot be found in any scriptures ).

Caste system just adds on in bringing differences among people and at times hinders brotherhood and integrity of the nation.
