Why people wear cotton cloth when it is hot and humid while woollen clothes when it is cold?

Holes in winter clothes traps the cold air in it and doesn't allow cold air come inside,in this way we feel warm in woolen clothes.   We should wear light colored clothes in summer because light coloured clothes keeps us cool as they insulate the heat.  Hope this helps!!! Please mark as brailiest
