Exhaustible resources are those that may easily get exhausted by human beings.

In contrast to that, it is impossible to exhaust sunlight.

On the other hand, petrol can be easily exhausted by human resources.

These reasons make petrol an exhaustible natural resource whereas sunlight is not.

Sunlight cannot be depleted at any cost.
