Why photosynthesis is a redox reaction?

Because it involves both reduction reaction and oxidation reaction.C6H1206(Glucose) is formed from CO2 through reduction reaction and oxygen is formed from water through oxidation reaction.

Because there is reduction of CO2 and oxidation of O2 through water molecule
