Why pickles and curd are not stored in copper and brass vessels

Because copper and brass are not reactive tho air, water, moisture and temperature. Pickles are sour taste they easily reacts with everything and spoils the food so if we store them in copper and brass they won't react with anything and not spoiled. And curd is also sour taste it will react so we are storing in brass and copper
