Why pie is equal to 22/7 Why not any other number

Actually, π was never given the value 22/7.

Infact, π is the ratio of circumference of a circle and its diameter.

Consider a circle of radius r then,

π=2πr÷2r

2πr= circumference of circle

2r = diameter of circle

We actually came to know that this ratio is constant for all the circles and thus assigned the value..

π= 3.14159265358969323846…. a non terminating value.
