why planets do not twinkle give reason

unlike the stars the planets keep on changing there positions. they do not twinkle because they do not have their own light . they observe bright because of the light of the sun reflected by them .

planets are much closer to the earth as compared to the stars they are bigger when we observe them from earth. planet are made up of large number of point of sources. due to atmospheric refraction is point sources will appear to Twinkle, the total effect will be nullified
