Why plant cell are more rigid than animal cell short answer?

The plant cell is more turgid as compared to the animal cell because the plants have cell wall which is made up of cellulose in addition to plasma membrane but the animal cell have only a outer coating layer(plasma membrane).

Plant cell are more rigid then animal cell coz plant cells contains cell wall where as there is absence of cell wall in animal cell. Cell wall is made up of cellulose. It gives plant cell it's shape.
