why platinum,gold and silver are used to make jewellery.?give reason.

Platinum, gold and silver are used to make jewellery because these are low reactive metals so rarely corrosion occur (In silver) and hence do not lost their shine and lustre.

These metals are Highly lustrous, attractive, and resistant to corrosion .And also easy to convert them into jewels.Hence they are used.
