Why potato chips manufacturers fill packet of chips wiith nitrogen?
This is because nitrogen is a antioxidant.
It prevents the chips from being oxidised. If we flush the packets of chips with oxygen, then the chips react with ixygen and becomes rancid and the smell and taste of food change.
