Why potentiometric is preferred over volumetric titration?

The electrodes for potentiometric titrations are chosen so that a change in potential of the titration solution, caused by titration of the analyte(s) of interest, is optimally detected. Potentiometric titrations are preferred to manual titrations, since they are more accurate and precise.
