In many regions of the world, regional overgrazing has resulted in destruction of grazing lands, forest and soil.

Rich people or people with well financial status have the ability to use the resources provided yo them through various products but poor people use the natural resources directly like firewood, medicine, fodder for grazing animals, etc. are obtained by them from forests. Consuming and exploiting the natural resources at a faster rate degrades the environment.
