power sharing is desirable because of two major reasons. first the Prudential reason it helps to reduce the possibility of conflict between social group social conflict often leads to violence and political instability power sharing is a good way to ensure the stability of political order. imposing the will of majority community over others will look like an attractive opinion in a start Run but in the long run it and I'm in the unity of the nation
for example in Belgium the government decided to share power in such a way that no conflict will be there and at the same time in Sri Lanka they refer to majoritanism in place of power sharing which leads to civil war.
