Potential energy of electron far away from the nucleus is high.
==================================☆

Potential energy of an electron keep away from the nucleus is higher.

So we should try to understand it very easily,

✴We know that,
------------------------------------------------------
Work done = force × displacement
-------------------------------------------------------

✴By using columnb's law.
------------------------------------------------------
Force acting on a charge=
(1 \div 4\pi \times e0) \times q1 \times q2 \div {r}^{2}
-------------------------------------------------------

So here, if we see force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between two charges.

[here in this case one charge is positive which is present inside the nucleus and one charge in negative which is electron ]

So we come to conclusion that if we increase the distance between two charges then it will increase the force acting between them,

And now by
-------------------------------------------------------
Work done = force × displacement
--------------------------------------------------------

If force is increasing then work done will also be increased .

And work done is change in energy so energy will be Increased .

Hence it has been proved .
