Production of grain could not keep pace with demand....because of the following reasons....

1) Natural calamities destroy grains.
2) Increasing population grows but the grains were less..
3) Prices of grains were increased and poor people could not afford it.

Food production is not increasing quickly enough, because lands are giving their maximum and techniques are maximum. but the land is not enough. for more production.

Yields must increase by up to 110 per cent to cope with the growing population


Solutions may also include expanding cropland, reducing food waste and eating less meat
