Project tiger was launched in April 1973 during hon'ble Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's tenure.
Objectives:-
- Increasing of habitats of Tiger and migrate them to a suitable place.
- To Increase the population of tiger.
- To minimize human-tiger conflicts.
