Answer: Quality assurance helps in validating the quality, stability of the application. It builds an application that is reliable, robust and accessible and can withstand any unforeseen event. In Agile methodology, testing can never happen spontaneously, it has to be a planned activity.

In agile methodology, the role of the tester starts right at the requirement gathering and management level. Both testers and developers should have a clear understanding of the requirements and scope of work. As requirements are the basis of their development and testing process.
