Why r the means of transportation and communication called the lifeline of a nation and its economy?

Transportation and communication are called the lifelines of National economy because:

1) This helps in the agriculture sector and secondary sector.

2) Through the transportation and communication we expand our trade.

3) This makes us live our lives freely.

4) Example: The industry want to communicate with other country and wants to export their manufactured product in other country.

5) Because of transportation and communication we can easily communicate with each other.

1. The means of communication and transportation helps in the production and movement of goods and services.

2. Transport helps in development of communication. It has brought the world closer.

3. Pipelines are used for transporting crude oil and natural gas to refineries and factories.

4. Water provides the cheapest means of transport and is useful for international trade.

5. Air transport provides the fastest and the most comfortable mode of transport.
