Hhhkxhx: Not the answer which I wanted the answer is related to monsoon
anonimous: I wont to give the answer according to you related to monsoon. This is because of aravali hill which block the monsoon winds entring into Rajisthan. Also because there is less vagetation in Rajesthan so rain is not extracted.

The thar desert is located on the leeward side of Aravalis and receives very little amount of rain fall, ranging from 100to150mm per year
