Why red blood cells are less in womans than mans ?

Males have more levels of
testosterone thus producing more RBC's and they have more energy
consumption further more they have high metabolism rate and
power.....thus these requirements require more oxygen for normal
function so as a result males have more RBC's as compared to females.
