Why were Indian foods nd fibre crops exported to Europe in the end of the 19th century?

Wheat, cotton, jute and sugarcane were exported to Europe by the Indian farmers at the end of 19th century because atmosphere of Europe was not suitable to grow these crops so European imported these crops from India at lower rates and high quality.
