Heya friend!!
Rajdeep here....
Let me explain you differently, out of track.
Suppose there are two students..., A and B.
A is very good in studies, so he does not waste his time in doing WhatsApp, Facebook, etc and does not do spikes applying gel....
B is worst in studies, he only spends his time in doing odd things...and always applies gel to his hair, does hairstyle, etc.
So, whose speed is more?
Of course B, because he is not afraid of anything....so he does not listen to his parents, but student A is very good, always listening to his parents.
Consider A as violet light and B as red light. This means, that speed of A (violet light) is very less, and so it bends more towards its parents (normal). Speed of B (red light) is more, so it does not consider it important to listen to its parents, so it deviates less towards its parents(normal).
The above was for your understanding.
The to the point answer is:
Red light has a greater wavelength (8000A°) and more speed than violet light, which has a wavelength of 4000A°, and hence its speed is less. So red light deviates less as light with greater speed, suffers less deviation..
If you understand, this will help you a lot.
Thanks..
Have a nice day.....(^_^)
