Hola! ❤️

The the weaker section of society aspire towards equality by the reservations in the government jobs because in reservation certain percentage of people of that caste religion must be selected in the particular government job and so this helps the weaker section of society to Aspire towards equality by giving them chance as equally which is given to the richer sections of society

Hope it helps

In one sentence: It never does.

How do you determine whether the section is weak or not? What are the aspects that are considered to classify a group of people weak? That is the main point. If you decide giving a section a crutch to support them in the form of reservation, let it have a merit based. Let reservation be given only to those who are desparate in using it irrespective of their birth.

Let me be clear what I say, giving reservation to physically challenged is not opposed by anyone. The person is given reservation because he is not a normal human being and is more disadvantaged compared to average human being and suffers more than the rest.

Reservation to gender minorities i.e. LGBT is acceptable because the society considers them as aliens. Their entry into a respectable position has huge road blocks. A reservation should not be an endless rope where you can avail its benefits from birth to death.

The society is not static, it changed every century in the long past, then every decade in the immediate past and now every year there is a big change. Having a policy that was introduced decades back till now does not have sense. Moreover, vote bank politics played a spoil sport. The politically influential gets reservation and those who are not does not benefit this.

This shows that reservation system has lost track of empowering the oppressed and has taken the ugly turn towards vote bank politics. This reservation again does not remove the mentality of upper caste. It is doing more harm than good in working place. A person who is from reserved quota is always looked down upon by those who came on merit. Rather than giving respect to those who came by reservation, it is only projecting them to be perceived as some one who is fit for nothing and reservation brought it all for them. The reservation is creating another set of barriers between those who avail and those who don’t. The previlege vs unprevilege something that communism says need to be abolished but reservation is promoted by these so called communists which widens the gap in society instead of closing it.

Initially the reservation was provided as a support system at the time of framing the constitution and the caste that got reservations were minimal. Over the time due to caste politics more and more castes were introduced and more categories were included. Did those categories not exists at the time of independence? Did the category become poor all of a sudden? If so then it is government that made them poor with the policies. How long are you going to be fed with fish? When are you going to start fishing yourself?
