why resisistivity of a material increases on increasing temperature and decreases on decreasing temperature ??​

This is because on increasing the temperature of the metal conductor the kinetic energy also increases and the electrons gets excited. Since the electrons move freely inside the conductor the power of obstructing the current per unit area also increases.
