Why resistance is created in a circuit? Ans: There are many free electrons in a metal circuit. These are moved in a zigzag motion. When Potential differences is created they made collision among themselves to go to the high Potential.(Somebody thinks that the collision happens between the atom and free electrons. But it is fully wrong concept.)

Resistance is created in circuit to make the flow of electrons less.If the amount of current passing through the circuit is more then it can lead to short circuit
