why 'Right to Property' was removed from the list of fundamental rights ?

Right to property was never in the Indian fundamental rights. The law (interpreter of the constitution which gives fundamental rights) only says that an Indian citizen cannot be denied right to buy property in any part of India by reason of region, religion, caste, skin colour etc.

 fundamental rights embedded in Part III of our Constitution are basic things like food, shelter, self respect, faith and belief, etc. These are safe guarded by the Supreme Court. Right to Property is not coming under these categories. A person can live without property but not without right to life, speech, expression, faith etc., in a democratic system. Further, the Government could not guarantee a property to every individual in the present set up. Hence it was removed.
