Why rivers are considered lifelines of human civilizations? explain any 3 reasons?

1- We can't live without water, it gives us a lifeline to live in world. Human drink water daily to keep away from thristy and also keep away from various diseases.
2- Human use water for their daily need or work like washing,bathing etc...
3- Human use water for irrigation to grow grains.
