why sea become waves

1. Due to gravitational attraction of Moon on the Water bodies.
2. Due to wind blowing/moving with high speeds on the surface of water bodies.
3. DUe to vibrations, Earthquakes in the Earth's crust below seas or oceans.
4. Due to release of hot gases in some holes on the surface of Earth. Due to changes in pressure and temperature, movement of water occurs.
5. Due to slow and continuous platonic movement of the plates of the Earth's crust layer.
