why sea water is salty

after years and years of river inflow and evaporation the salt content of the lake water built up to the present level the same process made the society river carry dissolved cells to the ocean water evaporates from the ocean to fall again as rain and to feed the rivers but the salt remain in the ocean

actually there is also a simple reason is that sea water gets salty due to decay of aquatic lives ....
