Shark Liver Oil is not genuine substance for cod liver oil:

The shark liver oil is not genuine substance for cod liver oil because, it contain only EPA and DHA and has no vitamins in it. It also doesn’t secrete omega but consumes it in its diet by eating algae and other species.

On the other hand in case of cod liver oil, it has low content of omega-3 where as it is highly rich in Vitamin A and D. Thus shark liver cannot be considered as genuine substance for cod liver oil.
