why should curd and sour substances not kept in a brass and copper vessels

as they are acids so react with metals formig new compounds thus toxifying the curd and milk

because curd and all sour substance is acidic , when acid react with base it form salt and water , therefore when it kept in brass or copper vessel it form salt , so we don't kept it in these vessel
