There’s a reason why the world is run by people with the maturity, understanding and experience that comes with age.

Children are not equipped to make the rules. Adults are. Does that mean that a child should never become a teacher, since when he was younger, he wasn’t able to fill that role?

The older a person is, the more equipped they are to deal with life’s issues. They’ve been there, done that and got over it all. They know that the more you know, the more you realize how much more there is to know. So yes, they are more qualified to lead us than younger people who still think they know everything.
