the most adverse effect is tht plastics are non biodegradable that is with due course of time they didn't decompose.takes200-300 yrs to do so

plastics do not get decomposed like raw veggies.. IF u keep raw veggies in field they won't be seen after 3 weeks .. but plastics will be seen
