The uncontrollable use of cattle should be discouraged.

Some livestock farmers raise cattle for commerce. This is a problem as cattle take up a lot of land and eat a lot of grass. Taking up land may mean deforestation. This is quite a problem and further increasing, especially in the Amazon Rainforest.

Cattle obviously eat to survive - but what do they eat? They eat pretty much every vegetation they find on the ground. Thus, they expose the soil without giving time for the vegetation to replenish itself,  so the physical forces (wind and rain) and soil is lost through the process of soil erosion.

  • The use of cattle cake as fuel should be discouraged because: (i) It creates pollution. (ii) It consumes most valuable manure which could be used in agriculture.
