Why should we always breathe through our nose and not through our mouth ?

it is because our nose contain fine hairs and mucus which helps in trapping dust particles present in air. But if we will breathe through mouth air will not be cleaned.

The wall of our nasal cavity is covered up with ciliated pseudostratified epithelium which makes the air warm and tramps the dust.
Moreover no such benefits are available when we breath through mouth.
Thus we choose nose.
