why should we always keep driniking water covered​

Bcoz since this water we use for drinking so it should be covered for protecting it from dust and dirt.

Water should be safely stored in a covered container that is clean on the inside and outside. Families and communities can protect their water supply by;... keeping all animals away from drinking water sources and family living areas avoiding the use of pesticides or chemicals anywhere near a water source.
