why should we grow seeds in moist soil?

Almost anything needs water or moisture to grow and prosper. Water is life, especially for seeds. Water activates the germination cycle of the seed by causing the seedcoat/hull to swell which in turn hydrates the cell of the seed.. hope it helps u

In moist soil seeds grow well and easily. In moist soil seeds gets some favorable conditions which are required for well development of seeds. So that's why we should grown seeds in moist soil.
