Many packages foods are highly processed and lacking nutrition. They have excesses of sugars, high amounts of sodium, and unhealthy hydrogenated oils. Additionally, you'll find a long list of preservatives used to give them shelf life.
Your best bet when you purchase packaged foods is to look for those with a short list of ingredients, that are low in sugar and sodium. If they are baked items look for 100% whole grains
