still water source is a good ideal condition for insects like mosquito to lay eggs. The mosquito breeds and this may spread disease.

we should not let the water collect anywhere because it is very harmful for us and for our neighbours. the mosquitoes of harmful diseases like dengue and malaria also breed in that water.it is also a breeding place for many insects like flies.it led to many diseases like cholera.
