why should we not use chemical fertilizers indiscrimilately

Chemical fertilizers contain chemicals which destroy the soil composition. As a result plants take in the fertilizers from the soil through their roots which comes in the body of plant and the chemicals can effect our body when we take it The fertilizers are added to soil so when water flows on the soil nd flow in the rivers then water pollution is caused . when water evaporates then they carry these fertilizers which result in air pollution.
