why should we not wash fruits and vegetable after cuting?

all nutrients are generally present on epidermis(outer skin ) & fleshy part of food. when once chopped it is recommended not to wash them as nutrients present in them are water soluble , thus water rinses out all its nutritive value.

because if we wash the fruit or vegetables after peeling the minerals and protein it have it will also washed
