because it does not damage the soil fertility the chemical pesticide harms the fertility of soil and degrade the condition of the soil. And the soil loose its nutrients.

Because biopesticides do not harm the environment and are easily accessible
On the other hand, DDT is manufactured of harmful chemicals
Even DDT show biomagnification i.e. its concentration increases with each tropic level
