They should show their respect for the law by observing the law. The Government, corporations and individual citizens should never take the Constitution for granted. ... Respect for the Constitution is a pre-requisite of all good governance, whether it is a local community group or higher governing body.....

Now suppose you are playing cricket. You may make rules like ball going outside fence is a OUT, ball hitting the pole next to someone's house is a six and many other rules which may also be like LBW is not applicable in our ground.

Now, you might have noticed that all of you are following these laws in a sacrosanct way. They become universal laws in that field for you all and are not challenged. Everyone respects them and you play a very orderly game. Someone not following the rule is either fought with or is expelled

Now apply this same logic. The cricket ground is India and the rules you made is our Constitution. If we want to play a happy living in this match in our republic, we must follow all the rules of the game made by our fore fathers. If you do not respect or follow them, you will be made to fall in line by the majority of other players or will be expelled from ground( charged and imprisoned).

Thus, we must follow and respect our constitution if we so diligently follows the rule in a silly game.

Hope you have now a crystal clarity about why we should respect.

Enjoy and feel proud for one of the best constitution of world we are actually living.:—)

hope it helps u
