it is just an illusion we can't take an image of that mirage because it is not a realty

When light travels from low density (air) to a high density (water) medium Refraction takes place. The amount of medium where light travels result in mirag effect.

it is not flowing water when we see gas of fire will see that objects behind that fire are moving but they are not moving like that only the mirage is not a flowing water
