Why Silver is used in jewellery


AishwaryaW: silver is used in jewellry so that the jewellry should become rigid and capable of use of wearing.Only gold jewellry is not possible as it is to delicate and can be moulded into any shape.

silver is used in jewellery because it takes more time to react with atmosphere.same as gold.gold takes more time than silver to react with atmosphere.silver also has some properties such as melleability,ductility.
I think so this is the reason.
