sodium and Magnesium kept in kerosene oil because they are highly reactive metals
even they come in contact with air they start burning , so in order to stop reacting with air Sodium and Magnesium kept under the kerosene oil .

These are very reactive Metals. They burn in the air. So they are kept in kerosene Oil
