Sodium bicarbonate is NaHCO3. Here we, get to see that it has been formed by partial displacement of Hydrogen from an acid. And since it is partial displacement of HYDROGEN from ACID, it is an acid salt.
Similarly, it there is partial displacement of OH- from base, then it will be called as a basic salt.
