Solids have a property of rigidity due to which it has a definite shape and thus has a definite volume
This property of rigidity is because of the fact that in solids the attractive forces acting atoms which we call as inter-molecular is quite high

Hence due to this reason solids have a definite shape and size

Hope this helped u :-)

Solids have definite shape and volume because they have rigidity and their particles are held together firmly.

Solids have lowest compressiblity.

Solid have inter-molecular force of attraction.

That is why, solids  have definite shape and volume.
