A mixture of chloroform and acetone forms a solution with negative deviation from Raoult's law. This is because chloroform molecule is able to form hydrogen bond with acetone molecule as shown.

Chloroform-chloroform interactions are stronger than chloroform-acetone interactions.

see ans is simple .. negative means . they will Amit energy volume will decrease ..
because when the . chloroform and acetone are isolated ..bulatu they were separated.. the bond between there molecules were weak then then the mixture they .. make that why ..

mixture. show neg deviation towards roult law ... means. in the mixture. bond became powerfull
